What information do we gather?
We collect the e-mail addresses and phone numbers, when you voluntarily submit it to us. We provide the opportunity to request for proposals through an online form. It is completely up to you whether or not you want to provide it.

How do we use this information?
The information that we collect on our website is analyzed to help us understand what is most effective on the site and also to help us improve the site to make it more useful for our visitors/customers. We will not sell or provide individual information to others that we collect through our online form.

Why Android and iOS Permissions are required while using our mobile application?
When the TRIS Student app is installed on your phone, a list of permissions appears. Since there is no option to customize those permissions, below is a description of the permissions that TRIS Student App requires and the data that App shall access and use.

Android permissions:

• Storage: This permission is required to upload documents/photos from external storage and to save documents/photos to external storage.
• Location: This permission is used to locate your current location in Track My Bus. So, you can know where you are and where the bus is.
• Photos:Save photos from Gallery to user device’s camera roll.
• Camera:Use your camera to take photos in Create Homework and Create Assignment.
• Notifications:You will receive notifications for Circular, Assignment, Query, Query Queue, Blog, News, Result, Result Sheet, Gallery, Attendance, Poll, Activity, etc.
• Contact List:Users can quickly choose the phone number they want to receive their OTP by granting access to the contact list, which helps stop fraudulent behaviour.
• Image :Save images from a user’s gallery to their device’s camera roll, and utilise your camera to take visuals and upload them to application.
• File information:This authorization is needed in order to upload files or images from external storage and save files to external storage.

 
iOS permissions:

Account Creation:

Our app does not permit end users to create personal accounts. As such, we do not collect or store any personal information related to user account creation, such as email addresses, or other identifying information. We provide account access to already created limited group of users, such as administrators, teachers, students or other designated individuals. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a secure and user-friendly experience.

Data Collection:

For these users, we collect and store information such as login credentials and device id necessary for application access and account management for limited users which are individuals

Data Security:

Encryption: All personal data and login credentials are encrypted during transmission and storage to ensure the highest level of security.

Access Control: Only authorized personnel have access to user data, and strict access controls are in place to protect this information.

User Responsibilities:

Confidentiality: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and must not share them with unauthorized individuals.
